I fully agree with you, they take their caning well. I was fortunate enough throughout my school years to have only received the slipper, although with the exception of one occasion, this was always over my shorts (aged 8/9). In later life, I considered it appropriate for me to solicit the cane, belt, paddle, slipper and hand spanking from a number of sources and can agree with you about how the cane feels. I would take it and other punishment as regularly as I could for what I considered to be ungentlemanly conduct. Punishment was always delivered in 'sets', over trousers and pants, over pants only and on the bare backside.
